Terms of service

General

These terms apply to goods purchased at www.ekorremobler.com, owned by Ekorre Möbler AB, Lyckostigen 9B, 195 36, Märsta, Sweden.

Ordering

Place orders securely on our website. Your order will be confirmed at checkout and you will receive a confirmation email after your order has been paid. Changes post-processing, packing, or shipping are not possible.

Price and Payment Options

All prices are stated in SEK (Swedish Kronor), including VAT. If you wish to see an estimate in your local currency, we recommend visiting www.xe.com. Any additional fees, including shipping costs, will be clearly stated in the checkout process before purchase completion.

You pay easily and securely via Klarna Checkout, which is offered in conjunction with our payment partner Klarna (Klarna Bank AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, corporate identity number  556737-0431). Upon payment with certain payment methods, a credit check may be necessary. The credit check is carried out by Klarna, and in connection with this, you will also need to provide your personal identity number. In the event of non-payment to Klarna, reminder and collection fees may apply. You can read Klarna’s general terms of use here and Klarna’s personal data policy here.

 

Remember that in the case of returns, you must pause your invoice so that reminder fees are not automatically sent out if your return does not have time to be processed before the due date. You do this simply by logging in to your profile in Klarna’s app or at Klarna.se. You can also contact Klarna on 08-120 120 10.

Delivery

Before the purchase is completed, the applicable shipping fee will be stated and it will be stated and it will be based on the destination country. The normal delivery time within Sweden for items in stock is two weeks.

If a delivery delay occurs that has a significant consequence for you as a customer, you have the right to terminate the agreement. If a delay occurs that is out of Ekorre Möbler’s control (Force majeure), Ekorre Möbler cannot be considered responsible for the delay or liable for damages or compensation. 

If you receive your order with clear damage, please contact us as soon as possible. If the delivery does not correspond to the information on your order confirmation, please reach out to us. We will investigate the matter and if an error has occurred, we will send the correct product or refund your payment, depending on what has been agreed and is possible.

If your order is sent back to Ekorre Möbler by the shipping company due to delivery at the address not having been possible, or because it was not picked up from the agent, or if you wish to have your order delivered again, please contact Ekorre Möbler. Shipping fees apply for this additional delivery.

Right of Withdrawal and Product Returns

Your satisfaction is important to us. We offer a 30-day withdrawal period for unused products. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and for packaging it to ensure the item is not damaged during transport. We recommend using the original packaging for returns. The withdrawal period does not apply to custom-made products. If the goods you return are in a deteriorated condition and this makes them unsaleable, Ekorre Möbler may make deductions or refuse to provide a refund depending on the extent of the damage, which is determined in each case. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, notify your wish to make a return within 14 days of receiving the order. Please contact us to initiate a return process at: info@ekorremobler.com

We will provide the shipping fee, and you will receive a return delivery note. Include a copy of your order confirmation, your name, and your order number. Please let us know the reason for the return as it is important to know why you are not satisfied. 

Repayment is executed within 14 days after receiving, processing, and approving your return. As a customer, you are responsible for the product being returned to us in good condition, which means that the packaging used for return shipping is secure. Refunds are always made via the same payment method that was used to place the order.

Right of Withdrawal for Workshops

It is possible to cancel workshop registration within 14 days from the day the workshop registration confirmation is received. A binding agreement on the workshop has been entered into once the confirmation is received and the right of withdrawal begins to apply. Cancellations during the withdrawal period are entitled to a full refund. To exercise the right of withdrawal, please notify us before the withdrawal period expires at info@ekorremobler.com.

 

After the withdrawal period has expired, a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the workshop value will be deducted. The latest date to cancel and receive the 50 percent workshop fee is 14 days before the start of the workshop.

 

Cancellations once a workshop has started (or 14 days before it begins), are not entitled to refunds.

Complaints and Disputes

Purchases are covered by a three-year warranty starting from the day products are received. The warranty safeguards against original defects, production issues, transport damage, or any other product-related defects. Complaints received after 6 months from the date a product was delivered can only be covered by the warranty if the customer proves that the defect was originally present. We commit to either restoring the item to its original condition or providing a replacement with a new one if a complaint is approved.

 

If you need to make a complaint, reach out to us via email before returning the product. We will provide you with all the necessary information on how to proceed. If a complaint is approved, customers won't incur any costs for return shipping or the shipment of a new item.

 

If you are dissatisfied with a workshop, you can under certain circumstances complain according to the rules of the Swedish Consumer Services Act on failures in service, 1985:716 (KTjL). Please contact us in the first instance at info@ekorremobler.com. If we cannot agree on a way forward, it is possible to contact the Swedish General Complaints Board (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden, ARN) via www.arn.se or by post to: Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden, Box 174, 101 23, Stockholm, Sweden. We will follow ARN's decision.

Reservations – Force majeure

Ekorre Möbler has the right not to fulfill their obligations under this agreement in the event of circumstances that are outside of our control. This applies, for example, in the event of government measures or failure, new or changed legislation, industrial action, strikes, war or threat of war, a blockade, fire, explosion, flood, natural disaster, or major accident.
