What is a home?
The birdhouses in the artwork show that a home can take many different forms – just like people. Each birdhouse is unique, with its own shape and character, reflecting our individual dreams, needs, and circumstances. For some, the home is an expression of identity; for others, it is a place to find safety. Regardless of size or material, every home contains a story hidden behind its façade. The installation serves as a reminder of the importance of tolerance and compassion, and of understanding that we all have different starting points in life. By making space for diversity, we build a society where more people have the chance to feel at home.
